Claudia Carruthers (CXVC) was born and brought up in the Northumbrian countryside with horses, ponies, donkeys, cats, rabbits and dogs. She began riding bareback on her donkey at the age of two, progressed through Pony Club and then began to ride work on point to point horses for local permit holders, and then having moved to Scotland she rode out at weekends on both flat and jump racehorses.
Claudia’s approach is driven by her passion to make a difference and be effective, for there to be a clear “before” and “after” for your animal. She intends to gain the trust of both you and your pet, to be efficient, reliable and provide a positive experience.
Although she has over 25 years of experience with Thoroughbreds, Claudia is keen to help animals of all shapes and sizes, whether they are in training, working or just enjoy being a companion, they can all benefit from treatment, young and old.
In order to provide the optimum experience Claudia will also draw on her armoury of treatments to ensure the time is enjoyable, repeatable and effective. This may mean using soft tissue massage, chiropractic adjustments, myofascial release or a combination. This ensures a unique and adaptable approach for each individual.
She undertakes regular Continuous Professional Development courses across the UK and keeps abreast of publications to remain at the forefront of latest developments in the treatment world and ensure her knowledge is up to date. This maintains a fresh and appropriate treatment for each client, every time.
